I grew up in Sandy Utah in a household of all brothers. I graduated from Jordan High School in 2003. I met Brian at Salt Lake Community College in 2004 where we were both attending school. I graduated college many years later right before our second child was born with an associates degree in general studies. I've been married since June 2005.
I've wanted to be a mom ever since I could walk and talk. After being married just a short two and a half months, Brian and I decided to start a family. We were blessed with our first son just 3 days before our one year anniversary. When he was about 10 months old, we were ready to start trying again. Without any problems, we were pregnant again. I wasn't getting the morning sickness I had with my first but thought it was maybe a girl. At seven weeks, we lost the pregnancy. I was devastated. After a months waiting period, we tried again. I felt it was hard to open my heart up and set myself up for disappointment. We got pregnant easily again. I was hopeful as I was feeling the sickness pretty strong like my first. At around nine weeks at my first appointment, there was no heartbeat found. The doctor gave us one week to see if it was just too early to see anything. After that time period, we went in to find out it was a blighted ovum. They said it's a really rare thing to happen where there is just an empty sac without a baby. Feeling confused and devastated yet again, I felt hopeless. We waited the recommended time again and then we were pregnant with our second son. He was born in November of 2008. We felt very blessed to have our two boys. I felt content for quite a bit longer than I had after our first. When the timing felt right, we tried again and were lucky enough to get pregnant immediately. I knew it was a girl before I even knew I was pregnant. I was elated to be getting my girl. I carried her for almost 19 weeks before losing her. I thought I knew what heartache was before but I was so wrong.
We are living in South Jordan Utah and are enjoying every day we have as a family. We miss our sweet little girl, but know we will see her again. I enjoy photography and many other activities that honestly, I don't really have the time for. Most days for me are spent cooking, cleaning, bathing, playing, shopping, comforting, reading, teaching, healing, driving, and other various tasks that involve being a mom to my boys and a wife to Brian.

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I was the youngest of nine children, I LOVE having a big family. My parents have 35 grandchildren, 3 of which were stillborn. I met my future husband when I was a junior in high school. On May 19, 2006 we got married!!!
After, Zach and I got married we both worked, and were really busy! Zach was going to school to finish up some things for Medical School requirements, and I was working full time. We started applying to Medical Schools, and for two years we struggled getting in. The second year that we applied was the year that we had our stillborn. There was no way I was in condition to leave my family behind, since we knew we would probably be moving out of state for school. After having our stillborn in March of 2008, we applied again for schools. In May of 2008, we found out that I was pregnant again!!! In November of 2008 my husband got accepted to Medical School and in February of 2009 our little girl Callista Jayde was born.
Today, we live in a rural town in Missouri where my husband is attending Medical School. We have a WONDERFUL 2 year old who keeps me busy! In my spare time I like to craft, play/watch sports, exercise and be a "mom" to the two loves in my life.
